Summer Registration Still Open

The Delta, Vol.4, No.8 in May 14, 1999 (College Paper)

The regular class schedule is almost over and there's only one week left for the final exams. Most of you will be willing to go home, yet here's a big opportunity to add more credits to your total credit hours. If you are behind your graduation plan and want to catch up, or would like to graduate in less than four years, these summer sessions would be a chance for you to do so.

The college provides two summer sessions. The first runs from June 1 to July 2. The second runs from July 6 to August 6. This year's summer session is quite different from the past year's term. Since the college has modified its January term and summer session policy, principally the sessions of the summer term and the number of classes are renovated.

There used to be three sessions offered for three weeks each in the past, but only two sessions are arranged so that the length of each session extends for five weeks. This provides students plenty of time to comprehend a course subject, instead of cramming.

The number of courses has increased. Many faculty members have taken the opportunity to offer courses this summer.

Classes need to have a minimum of eight students registered to stay afloat. So far, a total of around 100 students have signed up. Registration is still open for more students to come in.
